These are the men and women and indeterminates of the New Protection Committee, which displaced Kuyo after a strategic attack upon the Enforcers that disabled both their captain and student council rep while the bulk of their members were under attack by rogue fighters. The New Protection Committee is devoted to security and safety, and emphasizes student rights over executive privilege. That said, the Committee is still populated by monsters, most of whom have only a sketchy understanding of what the big deal is with killing and eating others. The line between widespread chaos and total harmony has never been thinner, and the weakest student in the freshman class will have to use all his wits, patience, and probably aspirin if he wants his dream of a safe, orderly school environment for everyone to be more than a laughable pipe dream.
