Yochinouryoku (予知能力, lit. "Divination") is an extremely advanced spiritual technique usually associated with shamanism such Onmyōdō or Hōriki. This precognition derived from their experiences allows them to anticipate and instantaneously perceive the intentions and movements of their opponents effortlessly. A master is said to merely need to register an opponent in thought alone. From observing their stance, he can immediately glean the knowledge of their potential physical movements that they can possibly take in their next action. Derived from the sight of their existence, the feel of their presence, the smell of their bodies, the spiritual power radiating from their centre, the smallest twitch in their expression or body movements, the acknowledgement of their emotional state, and even beyond that; a cornucopia of knowledge and information making it possible for a skilled warrior to render almost any power he comes across useless the moment he faces it in combat or even experiences it from the sidelines.
