This technique was developed by Herb as a counter to the Hiryu Korin Dan.
Description[]
The Korin Dan is formed from the use of a smaller vortex of cold energy forcefully drawing in the nearby hot energy. It then traps and shapes that energy into a ball and hits the enemy with it. By introducing a counter rotation, one could negate the trapping spiral, through the creation of a countercurrent of opposite orientation and similar amplitude and angular velocity.
One could also match the spiral and introduce an identical rotation. This has the potential of amplifying the initial attack, but properly offset and oriented, the moving, interlaced spirals produced a three dimensional scroll compressor, or vacuum pump sucking its victim in.
